Ann Coulter has just released a new book wherein she admonishes the wives of the husbands who died in the 911 terrorists attacks for using it as a forum for politics. She calls them"broads" and says she's never seen women so happy to cash in on their deaths. She refers to them as millionaires with an agenda. She also berates the Democrats as "godless". I have long believed her to be a nutjob with an attitude, but this crosses the line. She is a self-righteous,self important cancer.I can't believe anyone with any sense whatsoever would listen to her garbage.I'm hoping for arguments for and against her ramblings. Thanks for your time.

The problem is that she doesn't think, all she is able to do is regurgitate strong opinions. This is the women who insisted on Canadian radio that Canada fought in Vietnam, then argued with the Radio personality when he corrected her. In her mind she is the only one who is right.
I believe that governments have an obligation to take care of their populations. These women lost their spouses because their country failed to protect them from an outside force, they deserve compensation for that. But what do I know, I am a liberal, socialist Canadian!?

If you were more discerning, you'd have found that she's only admonishing those ones who have used their husbands' deaths to jump into politics and the compliant media think their opinions on national security and foreign affairs has merit (providing it is all against Bush and the GOP). Coulter's issue is that just because their husbands died on 9/11, they have no special knowledge or inimpeachable opinions.
These are a handful of them, and they are just more Cindy Sheehans.
Now, Coulter certainly is a shrill one at times, and she spares nobody her slings and arrows. But she's no more loony or crazy than Al Franken or Bill Maher, and she's smarter than either.

Did you even read it, or are you just making a statement with out knowing what she said. I do not see any thing wrong with what she has said. It is the truth.
A small quot
She states, "Under the guise of not favoring religion, liberals favor one cosmology over another and demand total indoctrination into theirs. The state religion of liberalism demands obeisance (to the National Organization for Women), tithing (to teachers' unions), reverence (for abortion), and formulaic imprecations ('Bush lied, kids died!'' 'Keep your laws off my body!' 'Arms for hostages!'). Everyone is taxed to support indoctrination into the state religion through public schools where innocent children are taught a specific belief system, rather than, say, math."
For years liberals have relied on a strategy of faking out the American public in order to win elections. Instead of accurately articulating their beliefs and engaging in an honest debate, they scour the nation for the perfect patsy. A hysterical mother who is willing to go on national television and call the President a "furor" and "evil maniac" is akin to seeing the stigmata. Liberals' ecstasy over Cindy Sheehan, Max Cleland, and the widows who made a spectacle of themselves in the midst of the 9/11 Commission epitomizes their secret weapon for winning back America -- a doctrine of infallibility in which victory goes to the most hysterical."

Honestly, I don't understand why someone would actually pay her to write a book. I lost some friends (all female) on 9/11 and I'm so humiliated by her words and the fact that she is an American citizen.

Amen! I can't stand that woman. She drives my brain insane with all the nonsense that comes out of her mouth. She's is the definition of a b*tch. She also reminds me of the female version of Bill O'Reilly.

It would appear to be shock value so that people will read newspaper articles and buy her book, thus increasing her profit. Utterly dispicable.
