Me and my family are going on vacation to Charleston, South Carolina the week of July 4th. We are going to watch the fireworks show there. I think it's called Patriots Point 4th of July Blast. The article I read about it said that there are hot bands there...does that mean popular pop bands of today, or what? The article also says that the fireworks are shot off of the USS YORKTOWN. Is this a good fireworks show, is it really big, where is the best spot to sit to watch it? i am form north Carolina yes it is patriots point 4Th of July blast yes there are popular pop bands of today and some country bands and some bands of the past . the firework show in an awesome display of pyrotechnics it is all open there are no bad places to sit

I would definetly suggest Myrtle Beach...they have Broadway on the Beach, Go-karts, amusement, ripley's believe it or not. ANd it's not that far from Charleston. ANd who wouldn't mind a day at the beach? Carowinds, will be super busy (actually everywhere will be that weekend), but I think Carowinds is closer to Charleston than Myrtle beach, also if you go to Carowinds. You can also go to Charlotte NC which is like 20 mins (if that) north of Carowinds, they have the discovery center (great for little kids and husbands who act like little kids), wonderful restaurants. Fabulous shopping, and a comedy shop. You're in a fabulous place, that gives you access to go anywhere without driving that far. Even if you just hop in a car and start to drive, I'm pretty sure you will find something fun and outstanding to do.
