i am planning to take up architecture as my college course, and i was thinking about my future.

I am starting off on a BArch as well and I have been facing this problem for some time. I think that the next wave of architectural work will be comprised of replacing old substandard structure. Also, people are always going to need new buildings, whether to replace or to expand (Hopefully not expand).

There will always be work, the question is whether or not we will be clever and quick enough to beat out all the other architects.
