Once you are at the System Restore, you will see a calendar. The calendar had colored days which already have restore points on them. You can have more than one restore point on each day. If you are going to install a new piece of hardware or a software program, go in and choose the hour before the installation. Place a descriptive name, like "installed printer". Then if you encounter a problem with a driver you can go and undo it. Always set a restore point whenever you make changes or add anything to your computer. Also, it is good to create a restore point when you do any maintenance to your computer or are going to make any major changes. This protects you in the event something goes wrong.

Good luck. This is rather easy once you do it the first time. Do not worry about doing something wrong, as the program will not let you.
