When I was in high school and my boyfriend cheated on me with another girl and I told my mom I didn't want to go to school because I didn't want to see or anybody that knows what happened ( like I said I was in high school...lol)
My mother told that I had no reason to be embarrass because I didn't do anything wrong and in life as long as I have a clear conscience it doesn't matter what people thought of me as long as I do right and always keep my head up with pride and never walk with my head down coz that's means I have something to be ashamed of.

they are three words we all like to hear
and they are
.. I LOVE YOU ..

every one needs to hear these from time to time..
and they are so precious when used properly...and not just thrown out for effect...but when some on really means it..then they are the most powerful words..whether it comes from a child or an adult..they re the best ! !

smile
Good Luck
and God Bless

This was when I much younger and whinier, he said" turtle girl, why are you complaining so much about this job?? See that door right there? You are free to walk through it at anytime and never come back, go on, if you hate it so much." It took me about 6 more months, but I finally did get the courage up to quit and he was completely right.

It would have to be every time that someone told me that I wouldn't be able to do something, wouldn't be good at something, would fail at something. It was these instances where I found that words had the biggest impact on me. I won't be denied something that I believe in.

Positive or Negative?

I have only one or two positive examples of positive but many many more negative (and all from my family).

The only positive ones were from my husband.

Told me that he would always be there for me no matter what. That meant a lot to me.

when I asked my mom why women recieve the short end of the stick in so many ways, she told me God made it that way because we can handle it. I was at the beginning of my career in a male-dominated industry having a particularly difficult time, and I have never looked back since. Thanks, mom

"Dad, when I grow up, I wanna be just like someone else."

"If God doesn't love you, why should I?"

*gasps, coughs* "eer" *more coughs*

"Aim for the liver."

"You're the one addiction I'd really like to break."

"Here. Drink this... NO SLOW DOWN... your...... gonna..."

"I faked it the whole time!"

"See that gal over there? She says she'll buy you a drink... if you leave."

"Can I get you anything else, ma'am?"

*giggles* "And you expect me to feel THAT??"
