Loki has nothing to do with Aztecs. Ignore that person.

The Monkey, ozomatli (chuen to the Maya), is the trickster. He is like the Coyote to the SW Natives. The Monkey is also the patron god of writers, artists and scribes. The Monkey is also one of the daysigns of the 260 day sacred calendar of the Maya and Aztecs.
