Search engines are plagued with advertisement fuel and are catered to retrieving popular web sites. If you are looking for somethig relating to a specific topic or field, they often fail at giving you the information you need.
The internet is infinite search engines are finite.

Too lazy to do any actual searching. This is an easy way for them to get the answers they need.

because search ngines don't get specifics. they search for all the words you enter and don't end up with results you want. on yahoo answers you get your answers from REAL people.

they do, but its easier to come here and get a response fom a person in a matter of seconds.
had you used those earch engines yourslef you would have known that.

They want attention ... the problem being most of them are little kids that are getting answers from little kids (or adults who act like little kids).
It's like throwing a tantrum to get attention from your parents.

I do every once in a while I use yahoo,Yahooligans,Google,MSN,aol,earthlink,sbc,at&t,and the-n (I pretty much use them all) I love disney Channel!!!

they come in here because they are lonely and because their mommas spoiled them. they want us to bottle feed and burp them :)
but don't get me wrong. i'm not complaining. this keeps me from watching daytime television. :)
