Yes. There is a risk of terrorism in any activity. Terrorists have already infiltrated every aspect of society-this has been an ongoing problem. Why would it stop or not target one area? Besides, think about all the attention that would get if more than one country was sponsoring the space initiative that was a victim of terrorism.

Terrorism can be a risk in anything because terrorist don't think about rules to abide with. They think of flaws or holes that they can take advantage of to make their attack. So, they will study anything in order to make their attack. Space travel may not be safe from sabotage, for example. Did you see the movie Contact?
