i'm sorry but not all latinos eat tacos, talk really loud, have a big butt, control their women or allow themselves to be controlled by their man if they are a woman. stereotypes is what keeps us so ignorant. People being of the same race/religion/location have problems adapting to each other so adding a latino/latina into your relationship wouldn't be all too different from being with anyone else it just makes things a little spicier. my suggestion is that you try to befriend someone for who they are not where they are from.

Yes, I would marry a Latino. If I loved him, then to me, it doesn't matter what his culture is. I would be more than willing to adapt to his culture. There is sacrifice in EVERYTHING that you do in life. If I had started a relationship with a Latino, then I knew going in that I would start experiencing different things. That can come from even being around his family. And just like I would have to adapt to his lifestyle, he would have to adapt to mine. So, its a 50/50 relationship issue. It doesn't really mean that when you get married you have to start adapting to their customs. You have already done that by beginning a relationship from the onset of when you started dating. I really wouldn't care what race you were. As long as you treat me with respect, and are faithful, then I wouldn't have any qualms about committing myself to them.

I would marry a latino, but he would have to be very special. I can only speak from my experiences with the latino's in my area. But the culture is geared towards not treating women as equals. The males tend to be domineering and controlling. The ppl as a whole tend to look the other way when a woman is abused, feeling it's the right of the man to treat his woman as he wishes. They also tend to have very short tempers and drink too much. Now don't start calling me a bigot for genrealizing. These latino traits I have seen and experienced myself. I also believe there are exceptions to every rule....

Well, I'm hispanic. But I am adopted and both my parents are white. So, I don't speak spanish and i find the culture different. I don't date latino guys and I highly doubt i will ever marry one. I don't feel like I would want to adapt to the culture.

I married a latino, I whole heartedly adapted to the food. I am the only white girl I know who can make Tamales, chili, salsa, chile colorado, pazole, you name it. But then again I was raised by my Mexican step father.

Sure, if I was in love with someone of that culture-there is much to love in the culture. Every marriage is a compromise, and there is no 'perfect fit'-everyone is an adjustment, so I would hope they would also respect my culture.

I'm married to a Latino..and I do think Most not all latinos have that "macho man" attitude...so If I had another chance to marry It would probably not be a latino...

Well, if we had a good relationship and I loved them, of course I would adapt, but it all depends on the person.
If you love someone, it would be worth it.
