If so, what do you do. I've heard of girls sticking coat hangers up themselves, or their finger with cooking oil.

No- it is not safe to try and do your own abortion at home. If you are unsure if you are pregnant to begin with, please see a doctor to get tested to confirm. Afterwards if you are insistent upon getting an abortion, and if you don't have a regular doctor, you can make a visit to your local Planned Parenthood.

Do not try something like this on your own! Part of the reason abortion-rights advocates lobby to keep abortion legal is so that it's safe, so that no woman ever has to feel so desperate that she would try something at home that will (a) likely not work and (b) possibly cause her irreparable injury or even death.

If you are seeking to terminate a pregnancy, talk to a doctor or visit Planned Parenthood and find out what all of your options are.

I wouldn't try... that would be dangerous. It could hurt both mother and baby. Might I suggest adoption??!? It's a much better choice.
