I work in East Providence. It is true what the other poster said, it is hard to find parking. The city is nice, they have redone everything. There is Waterfire and now a big arts and music scene, so when you get off of work there are a bunch of things to do. They are guting the old buildings and rebuilding them with lofts. The streets are full of potholes because of the winters, but the city is a fun city to live and work in.

Yes. While living in Boston, I frequently had to spend a few days at a time in Providence. I loved it. It's almost like "Mini-Boston." Not nearly as busy, but still with a lively pace, and you're just an hour from Boston on the "T" anyway.

Yes. I worked in Providence for a year and it was a very nice place. The people are down-to-earth and friendly.

I've been going to school in Providence and working downtown. It's great and its getting MUCH better. A lot of luxury condos are coming in, and they are moving the highways around. It's a blast.
