I am in First Place! But I still don't know how to accumulate points. I simply start my best players.

They give you points for if you are winning the best of a category. For example, if you had ERA, and you had 4.12, and you were in first place, then you'd get one point. If somebody had passed you in ERA and had 4.02, then you'd lose that point. You need to pick the best batters and pitchers you can, but don't pick Albert Pujols right now.

Depends on how your league is scored and what categories are used. If it's truly Rotisserie, then your team's totals for various stats (hits, runs, average, HR's, RBI, SB for your hitters; wins, saves, ERA, and WHIP for your pitchers) are compared to all of the other teams in the league. The team with the best stat gets points equal to however many teams are in your league, and the next best gets that number - 1, etc. down to the last team. Add up all of those points and that's your score.

Some leagues also have head-to-head competitions each week, where each stat you win for the week vs. the other team is a point.
