no!
no book should be banned because someone finds the contents offensive.
while I admit some books are not appropriate for all ages
I do not think they should be removed from circulation.
some books that have been "attacked" :
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885)
by Mark Twain
American Heritage Dictionary (no joke, was banned in 1978)
Catcher in the Rye (1951)
by J. D. Salinger
Grapes of Wrath (1939)
by John Steinbeck
Lord of the Flies
by William Golding
Of Mice and Men
by John Steinbeck
Bridge to Terabithia
by Katherine Paterson
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
by Maya Angelou
The Color Purple
by Alice Walker
in short my answer is no.

No--it our letter from God to humans and helps us in all aspects of life. It even tells us what our future will be like. The Bible has been banned before by people who claimed to serve God but by their actions proved they did not.
In 1229 the Council of Toulouse issued forty-five canons to end heresy. One of them “forbids the laity to have in their possession any copy of the books of the Old and New Testament, except the Psalter and such portions of them as are contained in the Breviary or the Hours of the Blessed Virgin; most strictly forbids these works in the vulgar tongue.” Some centuries later Henry VIII worked feverishly to keep Bibles from being smuggled into England. Public notices gave warning: “No women, nor artificers, nor apprentices, journeymen, serving-men, yeomen, husbandmen or laborers shall read the Bible in English to himself or another, privately or openly on pain of a month’s imprisonment.” And yet today when millions of people can read the Bible freely, most of them are Bible illiterates.
Translation work has made the Word of God available to thousands of millions of persons unable to understand the original Biblical languages. The early versions of the Scriptures were handwritten and were therefore in the form of manuscripts. However, since the advent of the printing press, many additional versions, or translations, have appeared, and these have generally been published in great quantities. Some versions have been prepared directly from Hebrew and Greek Bible texts, whereas others are based on earlier translations.
The Scriptures have been published, the whole or in part, in more than 1,800 languages. From the standpoint of language coverage, this means that some 97 percent of the earth’s population can have access to at least some part of the Bible.
So though many have tried to ban the Bible, their efforts will never succeed, for our Creator will never allow that to happen.

You are out on a mission, first against Christians now against the Bible! First thing I will say is that the Christians you can maybe get rid of although not the true ones, but the Bible is from God you have no hope to win against God you can try, people have tried before, but I do not believe you will succeed as I said it has been tried before without any success! As you know the Bible is still here and available to everyone on earth! Just as God wants it to be.

why would you ask if the bible should be banned? and what should it be banned from? schools? in general? if you think the bible should be banned, then shouldn't the koran be banned? the book of moron? and other religious books as well. what about books dealing with witchcraft, that in a sense is a type of religious book. so, my answer would be no, because if you ban one, then they all should be banned.

WE are still in America don't we. I mean we have not been transported to Nazi Germany or china. We have freedoms here
and if you start down that path there will be no turning back. Remember its one short step from banning books to banning people

NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! IT IS A SACRED BOOK TO CHRISTIANS/CATHOLICS/PROTESTANTS, ETC! If the Bible is banned then all religious books would be banned and it would take away not only religious freedom but freedom of speech. Absolutely NO and what would make you even ASK?

Why would you ask that? there is nothing bad in the bible, Many past and present American heroes and leaders read the bible. What if someone is lost in life? Well they go to the bible to read about past experiences and how to live life.

no. while i consider it to be a gross fantasy people have the right to believe whatever they choose to believe, especially if it helps them feel their life has some meaning. ill admit I'm not always as patient with Christians as I should be but telling them what they can or cant believe in would be worse than anything the most conservative fire and brimstone christian has ever said.
my god people listen to yourselves, some of your answers are why deeply spiritual Christians who might occasionally side with liberals refuse to and keep conservatives in power. you can disagree with Christan's and not be elitists
