Windows imaging is for displaying images. It has various features like resizing and such. As for being useful for data entry work, I think something like excel would be better or possibly access.

Windows imaging would not be of use for data entry work. Depending on the type of data entry you are needing to do, excel, access, Quckbooks, etc works best.

Windows imaging is for photos and such.
