they keys are in my trunk........whats the tennis balll thing?

if the windows are not cracked open a lil bit, your odds of gettin in are slim to none... best bet would be a locksmith..if the windows are cracked open a bit u can do the coat hanger bit, or on the the jetta u mite be able to sneak a thin rod though the back of the window in the middle of the drivers window. the seal was not make the best for jettas and u mite be able to sneak it over the window track.

If its a vw jetta with pneumatic central locking you could try the half tennis ball method

Call the cops - they'll slim jim it for you for free if it's your car. But odds are, if it was your Jetta, you'd be able to spell the word.

call a tow truck driver and see if they have a " slim jim" to get door open, probably cheeper.
