I'm a sophmore, and all these girls love the seniors. I think I am more attractive than more seniors, but girls in my grade prefer Juniors and Seniors...

The older boys obviously LOOK more mature than the younger ones. When it comes down to it, many 40-year-old men are about as mature as 8th-grade boys, but what the hell, high-school girls aren't all that sophisticated either, so if a guy LOOKS older, then she'll believe he's more mature. It might be that emotionally the senior quarterback is a complete infant, but since he looks all grown up, she'll give him more attention.
And of course, males being what they are, many freshman girls look about as hot as senior girls (to the unsophisticated male eye), with the added bonus that the younger girls haven't had as much opportunity to be jaded to the dubious charms of upperclassmen, so they make easier targets for exploitation. So the senior guys don't turn up their noses at the frosh girls.
It's all quite sordid and depressing, but you live through it. The best thing to do is to be the best friend you can be to these girls. Eventually, as time goes by and the girls have had their hearts broken by supposedly "mature" older boys, they might look to guys their own age, and begin to realize that you've been there for them all along.

The seniors are harder to get and girls want what they can't get. Also, they think that seniors are more mature, but two years in high school does not make you more mature.

When I was a sophomore, I dated a senior. The maturity level for most is different. You have to show that you are just as mature as they are.

That's because most guys a girls age don't seem as mature as the guys that are older than her. The guys that are older sometimes it might be that they like tha thought of going out with older guys, and sometimes it might be that they actually seem more mature and easier to talk to.

Usually, the girls date older guys because they are more mature. Girls mature faster than guys, so the guys who are at a girl's maturity level are older than them. It all evens out eventually.

Its a maturity thing. We like older men becuase they act older. I dont know abbout high schoolers, but older men are generally more attractive to women. Good Question!

They act WAY more mature and usually respect woman not for how they look but for the way they act and treat people. They care about what is on the inside, not the outside.

I am a freshman, going into sophomore next year, but I prefer dating sophomores... or juniors, cause I don't know why, they have always been nicer to me... i guess they are better kissers, too. Not that that's the only reason...but that is why I date them...
