I know people throw up in cars and on the ground out of necessity. I just wonder if people try to throw up outside, in a bucket, any other weird place, or if the toilet is the golden standard.

why anyone would use a toilet i can't imagine, the tub is much more bigger, less gross to have you face over, and more easily cleaned afterward...what you don't want to do (and i have done this once) if throw up when you are actually IN the tub...oh man, floating chunks

Oh boy do I have experience here. Well not really from me, but to me. See I used to work at a pizza place, and once this family of regulars held a birthday party there. They brought their own liquor (which we coulda got busted for, should told them no), and by the time they left, most of the guys were so trashed they were all chucking in the bathroom. Well when it came time for clean up, I was the manager at the time, so it was my job. I walked in and here 's what I saw. Puke on the ground around the toilet (they missed), puke in the urinal, puke on the ground around the urinal, puke in the sink, puke in the trashcan... get the picture? Fun night... God I miss that job.

The toilet does seem to be the golden standard, but I find that for a more comfortable puking experience, the bathtub simply can't be beat. I always felt that the toilet was the worst place to puke; while you are at your at your most nauseous and weak and queasy, to be forced to face the noxious fumes of old crystalized urine and stray pubes that adhere to the rim of the toilet.

yeah, for some reason, people like to puke on my carpet. not the kitchen floor, which is made of linoleum, and mostly never in the toilet. at least nobody's puked on the carpet in my new apartment yet. almost got christened the other day though. goddam drunks. at least i know how to splatter it all over the toilet like a good citizen.

Well, since you asked, when anyone in my family is sick, like with a stomach virus, I always put a small plastic waste can beside the bed, for those "quickies" that might not let you make it to the toilet.

I saw a friend throwing up in her kitchen sink then turn on the garbage disposal. She said she couldn't stick her head down the toilet where every body's butts been in....ewwww.

it is the porcelain throne, people pray to that most i think. if someone is taking care of u sometimes they bring a bucket so u dont have to move. some people id guess would go for a utility sink or something too. not the best of times for any of it though.

You're right, the toilet does seem to be the golden standard. When you get sick, it's where you head!
