No way! Chat rooms are polluted with losers and bots. Try a group and meet people with similar interests there.... Then you can IM back and forth without worrying about getting links to porn sites, or nut cases trying to show you their tiny thingies....

i have sometimes been in a chat room based on the sunject of abortion...but even then you get bots etc...and sometimes you can have a really good debate on the real subject!
