Depends on the guy and your relationship. My cousin's girlfriend proposed and he loved it. They're getting married in a couple of weeks.
If you guys are already talking marriage and making plans for a future together and he's the kind of guy that would like it- go for it. However, if he's more traditional or scared of committment - no way

That's a pretty touchy subject. Although he may want to marry you, chances are you could get turned down because he is old fashioned and HE wants to propose, he may be just waiting on the perfect time and place. If you ask and he turns you down, it will put a great strain on your relationship and make you feel really bad. When he is ready, he will propose but don't make him feel rushed.

I think the man should be the one to propose...but a lot of people say its ok for the woman to...Do whatever you are comfortable with.

you should if you think he is 'the one' but also discuss it with you reasons (to convince him) at the end if he says he is not going to do it just say it is 'ok' and drop it
as you do not want to put him on the spot where he will just panic and him just dropping the relationship, you can ask him again later on

HELL NO! Not unless you want to seem all desperate! Girl please! Don't you want to know if he REALLY wants you? If you do, then you will wait for him to ask you and if he doesn't he's not the one. There is nothing worse than a woman chasing a man. Especially where marriage is concerned. You should be HIS prize. Please get it together....and fast.

no you dont want a man to feel put on the spot. its not good. he might be insulted to just talk about marraige first and see if he gets a clue.
