what makes you think that the majority of UK people think America is a nation to be proud of?. I lived in the UK, and certainly think that, while America has a lot going for it, there is far more wrong than right with it.

From where do you get your assertion that the everyone in the UK thinks America is a nation to be proud of?
While that sickening set of initials is your login-name, don't speak for me.

Love the UK, it's history, architechture, and the fact that the people appear to quite like each other is a definite plus. Would love to live there. Also less bullsh** than anywhere else I've been!

I love the UK. I go every opportunity I can as my inlaws all live there. I adore London (well except for Heathrow - really prefer to fly into Gatwick) and I love the coast along the north sea.

I personally love the United Kingdom! You guys rock out there on your little island. You've got the history, culture, literature, and best of all, no obnoxious celebrity names! No Bradgelinas or Bennifers. I mean, what is the point of doing that? Useless I tell you, but no one ever listens. No one but the British, which is another reason I like them.

I love the UK.
My vacation there was fantastic as well as educational.
Nearly everyone I met was much friendlier than in the states.
