my x and i decided to still b friends after a nasty breakup that ended us for good..anyways hes now joining the army..we had a long good talk over the phone late last night and he didnt want me to go when i said bye and asked me to come over bcuz he wanted to see me (its been almost a month seeing him) then a minute later he calls me and says "i dont think it will b a good idea bcuz i dont want to get on u or us end up having sex"..what!?? i told him i dont we wont bcuz i dont want to....i dont get what the hell is the deal...do any of u guys know? one minute u tell me u look at me as a friend then literally the next minute u tell me u dont wna hang out bcuz ur afraid to get on me?? is that not weird!!??

No it's not weird, it's him trying to be honest for a change, see most likely he still have some lingering feelings for you and, know that the break-up is still a little fresh, you know how they say, "It's like putting salt in a wound".
You to are not ready for a true friendship at this moment, at least not to were you two should be in a place that is not public, He is on his way to the service as well, so he is going through quite some emotion and need to talk to someone he feels is able to understand him some what, and who could that be if not an ex-girlfriend.
Unless the two of you are going out for coffee or to a group function maybe the phone is the safest place for you all to talk, because you don't want to get in a situation that will confuse your feelings for one another, like in up in bed and regret it the next day or end up trying to be b/f & g/f again for the wrong reasons.
I hope this helps some, he is not trying to hurt you but trying to fix it so you to will be able to be real friends one day.

It's not weird. He probably has lots of mixed up feelings right now. He's going away, you all have ended your relationship---at this point all you can do is be supportive. Be his friend. Try that, you already know what it's like to be his girlfriend. When he's in boot camp he'll remember the good times you all shared. He's just as confused, if not more than you are. Good luck.

Although you guys are separate now, he still feel physically attached to you. It means that he still feel sexually attached to you and he still think he can get some action with you.
The best thing to do is to keep your distant from him for some time for this attractiveness to die down, then a normal friendship between you guys should be possible.

Well he probably feels something for you and if you go over he'll get all horny and want to do it with you and you'll get into it and do it too...But if you don't even like him at all and find that as something that you'll never let happen then tell him straighout that you don't see that happening and if he does then he better get it straight...
