In a 1980 cartoon called "Soup or Sonic", Wile E Coyote caught the Roadrunner. But due to a gag where he got smaller running through a narrow pipe, he was only a few inches tall at the time, while the Roadrunner was full size. The cartoon ends with Coyote holding up signs which say "Okay, wise guys, you always wanted me to catch him." and "Now what do I do?"
There was also a cartoon called "Solid Tin Coyote" in which a robot Coyote catches the Roadrunner, but when ordered to EAT,STUPID, eats the Coyote instead.

He did actually. In one episode, they are running through a pipe that gets smaller and smaller and they both come out small one one side, so the coyote chases the roadrunner back through the pipe in the opposite direction and the roadrunner comes out big but the coyote stays small and he runs up and grabs a hold of the roadrunners foot and then looks up and sees how big the roadrunner is and he looks at the camera and holds up his sign that says "Well, you always wanted me to catch him (turns the sign over) NOW what am I supposed to do?"

I just don't think so. What I think the coyote should have done was to take all that money he was spending on the acme products and buy a roadrunner meal!

I don't think so the roadrunner's to fast for him also he out smart the coyote every time

If ever coyote catch roadrunner, it will be the end of a big story..........
Noone wants that, right? So their creator will never allow this happen! This means that coyote will be hungry..............FOR EVER!

Probably not. But if it did, the Roadrunner probably escaped somehow.

If he ever caught road runner he would have nothing to chase, and no purpose in his life. it's better that he never catches him.

no wily is too small not much muscle mass i hear road runner is high in protein so i presume he has not eaten the delicious road runner

dont think so.........RR is much too fast.
Last time I saw him,he had a huge boulder over his head.
