old fashioned home remedy....mayonnaise! spread just a little thru his hair and let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes then rinse. do this twice a week. do not use shampoo on the same days. it may seem a little oily in the beginning but it will fix him. My daughter had the same problem. I have long curly thick hair and her father has soft smooth hair, she had dry brittle hair and we tried alot of different shampoos. I got this remedy from my grandma and it worked. good luck

How often are you washing his hair? At 11 months old, babies don't generally get dirty enough to warrant a hair washing every day. Yes, I know they'll grab Ritz crackers and smash them in their hair, etc. LOL but it's not as if he goes outside all day and works in the boiling sun as a roofer and gets all sweaty. I would suggest, if you are washing his hair daily, to stop that, first of all. Secondly, make sure you comb his hair on a regular basis. Coming dry hair draws the hair's natural oils from the root to the ends of the hair, and third, do NOT goop up your baby's hair with all kinds of lotions and oils or anything of that nature. All that will serve to do is clog the pores in his scalp, possibly causing ingrown hairs and making his hair grow slower.

Is this dry hair causing him any discomfort? If so, you should take him to the doctor.

His hair just needs extra moister. I have very dry hair. I use Paul Mitchell' s moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I'm not saying you need to use expensive products on his hair, but some extra conditioner will help. Even some leave in conditioner.

hi. I even have hair that is often difficult and wavy, yet while cared for effectively, it is going to become quickly and workable. What i've got observed is that for hair like yours, like mine, shampoo and conditioner do no longer project an entire lot. As long as you do no longer use those god-poor 3 in one merchandise (E.G. 3 in one, physique wash, conditioner, and shampoo previous Spice) you will would desire to be properly. this could sound gross, in spite of the undeniable fact that maximum expensive use shampoo and conditioner each and each diverse day. each and daily use damages hair and motives it to finally end up frizzy. additionally, on a similar time as employing the products, no extra effective than a dime length quantity of each and each. sometimes, i exploit even smaller, like pea-length. additionally, end TOWEL DRYING YOUR HAIR! those with for sure difficult hair assist you to understand - this is risky and would make your hair curl. Blow dry it. this could make it dry straighter. once you bypass to straighten your hair - which you will would desire to, by the type - spritz your hair with a defrizzing spray (i exploit Tresemme Keratin comfortable). Blow dry it and then variety it. Use mattress Head Paste.

There are forms of conditioners that are made for babies. Give him alittle time to grow, and then see how his hair will turn out. There are worst things in life than dry hair!
