i like myspace. I think its cool. you get to meet new people, and like one of the people above said... myspace has helped me get in touch with friends i had not talked to in years (like 5 or 6 years) i think it really depends in the persons' interests. Besides, myspace great music, and its free.

I have enjoyed using MySpace because I have been able to contact people I lost ties with long ago. Its an abomination for meeting new people

redeeming - i reunited with a couple of good friends I lost touch with from high school. It's nice to keep in touch with them.
Worst - all the random loser guys who hit on me & try to add me as friends. Also people who try to add alot of strangers just to have friends, i don't get that.

most redeeming? music I guess, that you can discover some good music, though most of it is dross.
Worst? The whole concept really...
look at me ..look at me..I have herpes on my breasts..I am great etc
oh and the fact it has porn bots, and sexually risque/explicit imagery as advertising...yet their forums are censored so as not to offend 14 yr olds!!!!!

you have your friends on there and that is a good way to keep in touch with them and know how they are doing and what new things are going on in their life. especially if it just a good aquintence and you want to keep in touch and not lose them completley. Also, it allows you to express yourself as well.
