Lately I've noticed alot of NBA guys wearing LOOONG black leggings. Now I know that Iverson wore stuff on his arms to cover his tatoos but I don't think that many people have there legs tattooed that much. It looks really ODD. Does anyone know what those are for??

The leggings are supposed to stimulate your legs in a way that allow more blood flow, which means less aches and pains. But they are going to be banned next year. Some people that have warn them include jason williams dwayne wade kobe bryant.

They are not good luck, they are to keep your legs warm, and the NBA has announced that they will be banned immediately following the NBA Finals( which MIAMI will sweep)

I was wondering the same thing. It might just be a fad that will go away soon, but I would wear them probably because I am pale white.

i think after this year they arent allowed to wear them. iversons "sock" wasnt to cover his tats its was because he had an elbow inflamation and compression keeps blood flowing and keeps the are loose

Many athletes believe in luck, and think these are good luck. And they think they look cool. They're pretty much wrong on both, but they have money to burn so why not buy tights?
