What are CCJ's? Don't get a loan if you can't pay it and you know that information. Just live within your income and don't overspend.

CCJ's = Country Court Judgements issued when bills have failed to have been paid for whatever reason. Think they stay on your record for 6 years.
If you are wanting to take out a loan to pay off another, that is NOT a good idea. I would take some free legal advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau before you go any further. They have been invaluable help to me in the past and it doesn't cost a penny. They can also write on your behalf to companies you owe money too and will negotiate a payment plan for you.

have a good search on the web, and be careful. I have no CCJ's but a poor credit rating, and Welcome Finance wanted to charge me 47% interest!!!! Are you in the UK? I eventually got my loan at 24.6% and could give you details of the lender if you like?

Difficult but think why you need the loan, contemplate the possibility of an IVA, this can reduce all of you total debts by 90% and the interest stops accruing and you have 5 years to pay it off.

Provident. They sorted me out a loan and they come to your house every week or month to collect the money, intrest rates are high but it's a good service.
