C'mon.... you know a law like that will never happen here. Learn to pick your battles. Try supporting "Jessica's Law" that requires a mandatory 25 year sentence for these crimes. Bill O'Reilly (The O'Reilly Factor, Fox News) is pushing very hard for this.
Going overboard will only make politicians run for cover. They don't have the "cojones" for anything so severe.

It would be great if you did this. Unfortunately, states maintain individual rights over sentencing, so you'd have to petition 50 times, same for issues like gay marriage.
The best you can do is learn where convicted pedophiles are (most states have "right to know" laws concerning letting the community know if a child molester lives there) and advertising it so that everyone knows who it is & what he's done.
He might move away of his own account.
It would be a shame if someone took the law into their own hands and started killing these people off. That would be...um...wrong...but you could probably count on a sympathetic jury and minimum sentence.

I agree with you. I was molested by a family member, and then by a family friend as a child. You never think that would happen in the first place, but to happen twice is even worse. I could never forgive those men for what they did to me as a child. They are still walking the streets today as they please. Probably hurting other children because they know they can get away with it. Or at least on spend 5 to 10 years in jail for it. I feel people like them deserve to die a horrible death. I have been sexually and emotionally scared for life.

Damn my friend, you have ask a question that deserves a good answer.I sure wish I had one.I'm sure you have seen the news about the Collage student in S.C..The sick bastard they arrested has a record longer than my arm.Why in hell was he let out of prison with a record like that. Also we all know about Cooly that killed the little girl in Florida. He even bragged about what he was going to do.If ever a molester or rapists even goes near one of my grandchildren the law will never get a chance at him.I mean any child would be protected if I'm around.I agree with you 100%. Death to them should be very very slow and painfull. Thanks for the question my friend. Sorry I took up so much with my answer but this subject really pisses me off.

As a matter of fact, these are already capital offenses. You will not be able to get the "government" to institute the law, since capital punishment is decided on a case-by-case basis using state-specific theory on the subject matter. There are some governors who absolutely will not sign a death penalty. In those cases, the alternative to the death penalty is life in prison. I don't personally believe you intend to act on this subject matter, as I believe you are just venting your opinion as a matter of personal validation. However, if you are interested in supporting the death penalty in general, the first place to start is with your state legislature. Talk to your local representatives and make sure you provide a clear argument as to why they need to continue to support Capital Punishment.

Well there are all different types of sexual offenses and some I would not want to put anyone to death for.
Actually the only people that should be put to death are serial killers who are psychopaths who are unfeeling and have no remorse. They have no conscious and are a danger in and out of prison.
Fixated pedophiles should never be let out of jail unless we could find an Island to put them all on!
What I have found over the years, most people who molest children are family members and many families know but cover it up!. Some mothers do not believe their children, allying with the perp. Courts are geared for adults. not children.
An interesting statistic is the conviction rate for child molesters is higher where ther is no physical evidence, and lower when there is! Figure that one out!
I think there is where we need to start!
I had one kid who was 15 and coded. She was going to participate in the handicapped Olympics, or whatever they call it, and she had to have a physical. Well she was pregnant by her step father.
He was charged, went to jail, is out, I think he got 2 years, and is living with his wife, stepdaughter and child, who is his son and step=grandson!

You start the petition and then when you have enough signatures you send it to your local congressmen and you can also send it to the congressmen at the white house, you should be able to find all the contact info you need on the web. I don't know how many signatures you're going to need, I would just get as many as possible.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Start by writing your Congressman, Representatives, every government official you can think of. you can not rehabilitate this scum, if the do it once they will do it again again, I agree on the death penalty, the very minimal life in prison You have to many Johnny do gooders in this country, who think this is excusable behavior

That's one that would have to go state to state. Start with your district representatives office. With capital punishment legislation, I don't know if a petition would be strong enough. You may have to get a state rep or state senator to sponsor a bill. Otherwise, you'll need about 250,000 signatures, usually.

Personally, I think the parents of the children should be allowed a day with the pedophile. All they get is a broomstick. Let the fun begin.
