I live w/ my bestfriend and her husband, their baby, and my bestfriends cousin (kid I grew up and went to school with). I absolutely love my bestfriend and her baby but her husband is so verbally abusive I can't handle it anymore. One minute he is fine then the next all he does is complains and he's a total jerk to EVERYONE! He harrasses me if I don't take out the garbage or if I don't do something that he wants me to and he does absolutely nothing around the house! I don't understand why I'm the only one who gets attacked because I don't do stuff when no one else does anything either! He absolutely flipped out on me because I told him I wouldn't pay the phone bill because I don't use the phone I use my cell phone for everything! I don't know what to do, I want to move out but then I'm scared they will get mad at me and I'll never see my bestfriend or her baby anymore, and they are my world! Please help!

If she's your BFF she'll understand. It's not a healthy environment for you. Sometimes you have to put yourself first...and this is one of those times. Best of luck to you!

Sounds like there may be some jealousy issues. You need to move out. Then just visit with your friend when he is not home or she can bring the baby to your place. This situation is bad news. I"m betting you live like this because you can't afford your own place. Try to get your own place.

Friends or no friends, I'd pack my things, move out and tell him to take out his own trash and pay his own damn phone bill. He might get by with treating other people that way but not me.
