Unfortunately this is what a lot of Americans call entertainment. Just imagine if all the financial resources, man power, and dedication that goes into this crap went into something worth while? The possibilities would be endless.

Just like with anything else, people catch hold of something and they run with it until it dries up and then they move on to the next wave. Good question though.
