a 7 or 7.5 would be best.

An 8 inch rim is recommended for this size tire. However the 215 width without the aspect ratio (60/70/75) can only give you an approximate estimate. I recommend that you see a tire dealer and provide the complete set of dimensions eg: 215/60/17 in order to get an accurate answer.

An 8 inches should do the trick.... Depends on your Car make. It fits most cars.
