Robyn, I am so sorry...have you talked with the hospital (social services, social worker) to ask about some options. If you are a care giver and qualify I am sure that you could get some type of medical insurance to care for you daughter and maybe that could get you back to work...Call the social services at the hospital and they can steer you into right direction..they have the resources at their fingertips...Do you have some type of Leukemia Office in Michigan that you can call for help..(health care providers, free care, free medical assistance, medications) I wish you much luck...and prayers to you and your daughter.

Maybe there is some type of program you can be paid as a caregiver for her to pay for the house payment? Can you take in a foreign student to help out? I'm so sorry for your situation. My husband's been going through cancer this last 2 years too. We thought he'd recovered only to find 2 more tumours recently. Keep strong, have your support system close and let them know what you need. If we don't tell anyone they won't know how to help. God bless. Praying for you.

I'm really sorry. Can't the goverment support you? Maybe you can get a job at home like a internet worker. Also does your insurance support the meds

I would contact a lawyer, I don't think the company can fire you for that. I don't know Michigan law though.
