Wash it in hot water and then put it in the dryer. If there is any cotton in the shirt this should cause it to shrink - but if it is a high cotton content this could possibly cause it to shrink too much.

Wash it in very hot water, and Dry it at the hottest setting...Do that about 2 or 3 times to get the most shrinking possible out of it.

Well, I have tons of t-shirts I've gotten over the years, and I don't know what my wife has done to them, but they've ALL shrunk. They were plenty big enough when I was a teen, but now that I'm in my fifties . . . ? My high school track team shirt has just gotten to be WAY too small, especially around my waist. I don't know how she got it to shrink so selectively . . . . . . . . 8^)
Hot water wash, dry on the highest heat setting, repeat.

wash it in hot water, then put it in the dryer on the highest heat setting. This will only work on certain fabrics though. If it's cotton and it's not pre-shrunk than you're in luck.
