It's normal ... mine even puff up a little bit when they get irritated ( that's just because they went too deep )

It will scab, peel & itch .. don't scratch .. it will mess up the tattoo !

Use a clear non-fragrence lotion for the next month at least once a day on it and it will be healled in no time !

After 2 weeks it should look like the rest of your skin in the non-tattooed areas. If your skin is normally shiny then yes it should look the same.I don't think it's a problem as long as the tattoo is healing like a normal cut would. If your worried about it just take a ride to the parlor that did it and ask them to check it out for you.

Good Luck!

Hiya, yeah my tattoo went scabby then shiny, all in all mine took about a month to heal properly, everyones body reacts differently to tattoos, but this is what happened to me, and mines fine now. Good luck!

yeah, its probably scabbing a little bit. Just keep putting the stuff on that the tattoo guy told you to put on and things should be fine. Don't pick your scabs if your tattoo turns red or starts bleeding, call your tattoo guy or go see a doc.

Yes, it's shiny for a few months. Don't worry. Keep putting the antiseptic cream on.

Yes it should be shiny, you want to keep it moisturized for about a month each day to ensure the best quality. You dont want it to get dull though. Use cocoa butter or unscented lotion, dont use vaseline or A&D ointment at this point...you want it to breathe.

Yeah, it's shiny because of the ointment you have to put on it. It will get scabby in a day or two. DONT PICK IT, Just keep putting ointment on it.
