I heard this yesterday and thought it was the biggest pile of steaming **** I'd ever heard of in my life. A clinical name for getting pissed off occaisionally. Me, I have Repeteive Inhalation Disorder where my body relies upon constantly breathing or I turn blue and fall over. Pity me...there is no cure. Maybe I can get it on a postage stamp or get a telethon lined up.

Intermittent explosive disorder is what I get after eating at Don Pablo's.
And yes, I think it's ridiculous. I should not be responsible for taking out my steering wheel lock and beating that other driver to death because I have "Intermittent Explosive Disorder." I should not go to prison for beating that other Hockey Dad to death because I have it....

Intermittent Explosive Disorder doesn't say anything to suggest sudden anger while on the road. In fact, it sounds like a kid who feels sudden urges to stick cherry bombs in people's mailboxes. Who came up with that?

That is so strange that you would ask. I'm in a psychology class Tues. and Thu. nights and the professor was explaining this last night.I agree with you. People just need to controll their anger.

Its just another attempt to misdiagnose people and put them on drugs so drug companies can get money.
