Make him a special fathers day card (homemade not store bought) write a letter telling him what you appreciate about him most, and the things he does for you and your family. Something that is from the heart He will Cherish that more than anything you can buy. Tell him you love him..

Write a poem. Go golfing or fishing or sailing alone with him - a hobby he likes to do. surprise him by mowing the lawn or doing a chore he normally does. Make a photo album of pictures of you and him over your life. Take him to a father-daughter dance or camping just the 2 of you or out in a boat (rent a canoe). Or go have a few drinks with him - and pick up the tab. YOu have to go by your individual dad and what he likes when you go non-traditional

I sent my father a singing telegram at work!! It was hilarious to see his face. After his co-workers stopped laughing, he thought it was awesome. He said he would always remember that because no one had ever done it before.
