Changed
I feel as though I am a different person
my decisions are altered
my thoughts are dissimilar
my actions are diverse
only one factor may have influenced this distortion
maybe my life before this experience was a fluke
and I am now my true self
this incidence could have converted my personality
I haven't any idea which is true
when compared to my life before this dire event
I am changed
Please post any comments or just tell me whether you like it or not. It's getting published in a book.

Actually, I had a concussion and suffered memory loss and my personality seemed very different to everyone. I wrote this poem sometime last year.

you didn't state the reason behind your "change". what was that one factor that may have influenced your distortion and what prompted you to change? and you didn't describe how your life was before the change and how was it like being your true self. there was no comparison. but yeah, you could definitely write. just keep on writing and the best of luck.

Good job...Keep writing! It's so theraputic to one's mind. It flushes out the gunk of frustration and a hard day and let's one focus on better things to think about.
I can sit out on my porch and watch the birds and butterflies and in no-time I'm running for a peice of paper to write a poem!!
Note...If your working through Poetry.com as I have...I'm having it printed in a book as well....but I recently had my poem choosen to be in a 3 cd collection.....I was let down by hearing the other poems.....not worth the money! Mostly about my boyfriend left me kind of poems....snore!!! But it's was so fun to hear my own poem with music behind it!

it sounds as though it's about having a tramatic experience and being forever changed because of it. it seems like the change was for the best.
seems you're not afraid to be who you are now because of unessesary inhabitions.
