Are you a girly girl if so decorate in light purple and a light pink { also a dark purple would be okay} What is the color of your bed? find a color that might match your bed spread unless your bed is green or blue or something like that you might want to get a new bed spread. Also white is a nice color with hot pink.white goes with anything. pictures with white frames would be cool.If you have a dresser put pictures of you and your friends and family.
If you are a tomboy black would be the best color. On the dresser have black frames and instead of pictures on the wall you can have posters of Happy Bunny or your favorite band. Your computer desktop should be darker color to match your room. If you have carpet than don't go any farther and stick with what I told you.
If you have hardwood floor a dark colored rug would look cool!!!!!11

That sounds like a good start. I would add a bright orange to accessorize with- it's trendy right now. One of my friends did this and it looked great. You can put up fun mirrors with pink and orange frames, pink and orange throw pillows on your bed and you can drape pink/orange cloths on your dresser mirror to dress it up or put them on the wall as a tapestry. Have fun with it!

Furnature, flooring, curtains should all be in black and white using straight clean lines, then add a very small touch of another bright color like one mid sized fuzzy lime green pillow and a line in the curtains in the same lime green. Have fun!

yeah my sis room is pink also and she need help so we put up alot of stuff well she is 13 so she is into alot of stuff she put up glow in the dark stars on the ceiling then she alos loved orlando bloom, tom crusie, jeesie macarity, and brad pit so she put up alot of all thouse poster with the matching backround and her computer she paint pink with a big pink couch next to it

Do a retro look. Get one of those hand shaped chairs from the 60's, a purple lava lamp, a black light and some black light posters. Yeah baby!!!

Paint each wall a different but complmentary color.
Like different shades of purple, or alternate, hues of red and orange
Note I didn't say blood red.
If your keeping the color, purple accessories would rock
