What does being beautiful or handsome have to do with your job? NOTHING. Women can have any job they want, and Arizonabrat is wrong and sexist as well -- OF COURSE any professional in any job deserves to be taken seriously, no matter how s/he looks.
To not take someone seriously over their looks is a form of prejudice and bias. This is wrong, narrow-minded, and shows a lack of tolerance, understanding and maturity.
Learn to evaluate people on their more important inner qualities, like compassion, competency on the job, their wisdom and how they treat others. Get to know their personalities; don't just look at the outer and the surface. EVERYONE, including the asker of this question, is deeper than just looks.
