First off, let me let you know that i was seeing this one girl online. My pc crashed a few days ago, and during the time it was out getting fixed in the shop, a female friend of mine came by cause she said she wanted to talk to me about something. Then she asked me to marry her. She is closer to my age than the one i have been seeing online, and i am wondering if i should accept her proposal or tell her i am involved with someone else online.

Ask yourself, do you love either of them? You shouldn't accept a proposal from someone that you don't truly love. Never settle for someone, or something, that you don't want 100% with your whole heart. It's not fair to you, or to the other person involved, if you aren't truly in love, and committed to the relationship.

Ask yourself how would you feel if your best friend started to date someone else and wanted to marry them? I had a friend who received a proposal from her best Friend and said no so he started to date someone else and started to think about marring her. My friend could not stand it, at that time she realized how she really felt. If you don't care if they found someone else and married them then say no. If you don't like the idea that they would be with someone else then marry her. As for your on-line friend if you have never met them it is hard to say how you really feel. You obviously like their personality but until you see them in person you don't really know about any physical attraction.

Follow your heart in this case.

Well do you love your best friend??? Can you imagine spending the rest of your life with her? If you are still thinking about someone online after someone proposed to you.........well you just answered your own question!

if you have to ask this question then the answer is no. do not marry someone that you are not in love with and can't think of anyone else you would rather spend THE REST OF YOUR LIFE with. marriage is a serious commitment and should not be taken lightly.

The answer is NO! The only reason you should get married is love, and if you need to ask this question then you're not in love.

Why should you accept if you're not interested in your best friend, considering that you want to hook up with someone else that you don't even know. Grow up!!

Good God, man - marry neither. Fall in love with someone in person. The good old-fahioned way is the best..

I don't believe you mentioned LOVE. Is that not a prerequisite for marriage anymore?
