Probably the weather, when it gets too cold or too hot they come on in and join the group- pesty little things. I would call someone to come spray around the outside of your house, if there are a lot.

Because there are lots of bugs around for them to eat. Spiders tend to go where the food is.

There are spiders in your house because you're too lazy to keep it clean. So... grab a broom and start sweeping! Dust of every piece of furniture. You might also want to try to reach those corners in the ceiling.
