Obviously I need to have him call me on the cell phone at the specific time that has been arranged. Would it be rude of me to confirm the time and the phone number he is to call?

There is nothing wrong with calling to confirm an appointment and making sure they have the correct number to reach you at. Just don't call several times. Just once the day before would be fine.

Since the interview has already been arranged and it is understood that they should contact you on your cell phone, I wouldn't call them. This is something that they would have written down in their notes. Calling them could seem pushy and might turn them off.

If they don't contact you at the specified time or later that same day, I would call them the following day to find a time to re-schedule.

No, i think it's considerate and fine. Unless you just talked about it last nite, then it's a bit pushy. But if it has been 3 days or more since you arranged it, then yes.

Yes, if it has be already arranged, if you call and pester him about the arrangement, you will seem like a control freak.

No. I am certain the caller already has your appointment on file...and if he/she does forget...his/her secretary will probably call you up to re-scheduale. GOOD LUCK on your job.

No.

In fact it'd be a good idea if you're the interviewer.

If you're the interviewee, then trust that he'll/she'll call.
