I loved Winnie the Pooh, Now we are six and When we where very young.
Strange to think these books where written by a man who was not at all fond of children also he has written a Sherlock Holmes type mystery along with various plays but his success was the story he wrote for his son Christopher Robin.
Winnie the Pooh for me will always be one of my favourites and it looks like generations of children will know him through the books and more so though Disney.
Owl,Piglet,Kanga Roo,Tigger,and all the characters have come alive in my imagination and then been introduced over the years to various people who have been enchanted my the books, long may they continue to be a child's friend and even a cuddly toy (Yes I have a Pooh Bear soft toy!)
It's a very funny thought that,if Bears were Bees,
They'd build their nests at the bottom of trees.
And that being so (if bees were bears).
We shouldn't have to climb up all those stairs"

ME I love pooh he is so cute i also love doing cross stitch of pooh and all his friends my bedroom walls are getting full of them my husband is not to pleased though. I have ten different calanders all around the house. Sun shades on my car with pooh and co, on the back shelf of my car, also has a collection of McDonalds toys on it and car fresheners i am even thinking of getting a tattoo of pooh but i don't fancy the pain. Pooh is really cool think i am in my second childhood.

I don't like at all. They are really boring and silly thing, but my 4 years old child loves them.
Yesterday, when she was watching it on a video, she was very emotional, saying she wanted to be there, where Pooh was, under a tree in a beautiful scenario.

My 2-year old girl loves Pooh and all his friends, including Lumpy the Heffalump. WE have the movies, and a ton of stuff character toys. It is a cute show!
