I had breast cancer 6 years ago and am estrogen positive. which pill can I take? I am 49 and pre menepausal. my GP prescribed micronor, but it says on the pack not to take if I have had breast cancer. Has any one else had this problem?

Generally, if you've had breast cancer in the past you wouldn't be prescribed any kind of hormonal contraceptive. Micronor is a progesterone only mini-pill, so it doesn't contain oestrogen, but do you know the progesterone receptor status of your breast cancer?
I'd advise you NOT to take any kind of hormonal contraceptive and to stick to barrier methods of contraception such as condoms. Speak to your GP again and explain your concerns, but unless you know that your breast cancer was progesterone receptor negative, I wouldn't take any hormones.
