Overall, in domestic market apparel business is doing very well. But the competition is hot. Those who are able to keep pace with the ever changing fashion and styles in garments, they are doing very fine.

Situation is more or less the same in local and branded stuff, so far as retailers are concerned. Dealers are banking on volumes. Roughly an average margin of 20% plus for most of them is practical.
