Hon, first off all try not to upset yourself...many time these thing wind up being nothing but pockets of fluid..but you must keep an eye on this..your doctor might suggest that you come back in 6 months and have this checked again and if he doesn't you refresh his memory.
By the way there is something they can do they can put a needle in there and drain the fluid to make you more comfortable!
As for it turning into cancer this why I stress to keep a eye on it!

Fibroid Node in Breast:
Well any harmless node can change in to malignant cancer at any ;later stage, it is better to keep a track of the node and at least consult physician after every 6 months and do mammography for the betterment of the life....

Could be or could not...you never know. I would seek out a second, third or fourth opinion. Other doctors may be able to catch the cancer, while others may not. If your worried go! It's your body, your health and your peaceful state of mind at risk. Good luck. I hope it isn't cancer.

It is only as likely to turn into cancer as any of the rest of your breast tissue is likely to turn into cancer. Doctors are very careful with their tests. Just do monthly self exams and see if it gets bigger quickly, and get examined by your doctor every year or so.
BTW, not to panic you more, but pain is not neccesarily a sign of whether it's cancerous or not.

Many women have fibrous tissue in their breasts. It may become more pronounced during certain times in your cycle. You definitely should have it evaluated by a physician, but if they have done ultrasounds to rule out anything suspicious then you can breathe easy.......Get a 2nd opinion if you are still concerned after seeing your Dr. Good luck!!!

Don't worry, especially if you already had the tests (hopefully diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound of the area in question). I had the same thing and they said I had a lumpy hard spot (harmless) probably caused by my underwire bra, of all things!

I'd think the phys. you allready have seen would recommend it to be removed. When he has not, go see another one for a second opinion. You need to feel safe in this matter.

I've had three of these remove, and each time i worried my self sick thinking the worse. The Doc. told me that I could leave them on there, but they where uncomfortable. My son just had one removed from his neck. So don't worry just have them removed and leave it in God's hands.
