No, I really don't. I think they are miss informed and get frustrated with their own party, as they should be. I think they carry out verbal attacks because their own party has abandoned them and their only outlet is to rage on the GOP using soundbites and bias websites and media outlets to back their weak mindedness. The Democrats in congress voted to go to war in Iraq yet they hold Bush as the sole cause. They want immigration reform and bash Bush. Yet Bush's plan is the most liberal plan on the Hill. They cry that Bush is a racist yet he has appointed more minorities and women to the highest positions in government.
Second point...I know a lot of very Liberal farmers and they pack heat AND know how to use them very well.

I have enough firearms and know how and when to use them. Thank you. I support ALL THE AMENDMENTS. The "guns, God, and gays" spinbyt just does not cut it anymore. Ask yourself, are we really better off since George?
Look at the jobs - gone away. Look at the war and the guys returning only to be sent back again. And btw, look at the Iraqi veterans who are running for office: almost to the man they are running as Progressives. Even wonder about that?
So flame away. If you want meaningful dialogue, write me directly.

If liberals supported the use of guns (which I do) the same way conservatives do, everybody would get shot in the face. How can conservatives claim liberals "have no aim"? Obviously, neither does Vice President Dick.

I'm a progressive and I have no problem with firearms. I just see no need to own any.
A better question is : Are kool-aid drinking republicans trying to cover up their shortcomings by owning guns?

As a generality, yes.
They seem to want mommy-state to wipe their bums, kiss their boo-boos and give them lollypops and not let them be responsible for anything. A kind of permanent infanthood to the state.
And, like infants, they cry and whine when you tell them, 'No!'
