Since your printer is going through the motions of printing without actually producing a page it is unlikely the problem is the cartridges. Unless of course they say open and unused for an extended period of time (more than a month)

You most likely have a contact issue. Your printer is not connecting to the cartridges properly. Look inside to see if there are is any ink on the contracts inside the printer. If so UNPLUG the printer and gently wipe away the debris.

Hopefully that should help,.

I have come across similar problems, and has normally been resolved, by replacing the ink cartridges again as you may have bad ones. THe printhead comes with the cartridge. try doing an offline print, press and hold for a few secs the paper feed button, if this is blank. cartridges are v.likely the cause. maybe you have known good cartridges you have seen working but with only a bit of ink in, try these, or use yours on another 930. Best of luck.

Assuming the cartridges are the rights ones, properly installed and with the little tabs/tape removed, then it is probably the printer head that has gone bad. It is not allowing ink to come through. The cost of repairing one of those HPs is usually as much as replacing. If it is no longer under warranty, you are probably looking at buying a new one.

are you using orginals? If you have a warranty on this printer i would take it back to where u brought it from and there will supply you with another as long as you have used compatible ink.
