I just got a dress shirt and I'm looking for information on how to clean it properly. What settings should I use on the washing machine and how should I dry it to prevent against wrinkles. I also don't have an iron so will that be a problem? Thanks for the help.

Take it to a dry cleaner. They will clean it and more importantly have it pressed for a nominal amount (usually around $2, it may be more in your area)

I would dry clean it. !00% cotton always shrinks and always wrinkles. Because you can't dry it, you'd better have it professionally cleaned. Fabric that is a polyester/cotton mix hold their shape and size better and wrinkle less and are more durable.

Wash it with cold water..that way it won't shrink. Dry it on a low setting and hang immediately after drying.

Get it dry cleaned. That way you won't have to iron it (because if you wash it, you certainly will have to do that).

Taking it to the dry cleaner would be safest, especially if you don't have an iron.
