if you know enough to teach someone what you know, then you know enough.

I am an EE but I was required to take dynamics. You will find many college courses become uninteresting, particularly if they are not directly related to your field of study.

I always found it helpful to study with classmates. That removed some of the stress and it's good to bounce problems around with somebody else.

Just hang in there. The info you learn may come in handy some day.

Its not that hard of a course. Just try not to over-analyze the problems. Thats what I did. As long as you have good common sense, you can make sense of the course. But, do all of the homework. Professors assign it for a reason....it helps. Most people, can't make it through engineering by showing up just on test day...like business degree people.

I can relate, I used to refer to it as Damnamics, as I was doomed the moment I set foot in the class. Indeed, dynamics seems to be the bastard hybrid of calculus and physics, that neither side wants to claim. It requires a special method of solving problems, as relying on standard methods in either physics or calculus will nto yield the proper results. Fortunately, my field of engineering doesn't require expertise in the subject.
