how do you get an aim? w/ the little status bar on the side while you talk to people??

Due to the limitations of your computer, you will need the classic AIM.

I would advise you to seek the assistance of a knowledgeable person. There is a chance that this software is already installed on your computer.

Visit www.aim.com and download it. It comes with everything you need. & by 'status bar on the side', are you talking about a buddy list? Yeah, that will come with the download.
